DAY 14 / NEXT 100 DAYS OF LOVE | RELEASE THE PAST

Updated: Oct 6, 2022

RELEASE THE PAST

The past is over. Leave it there. Stay in the power of now. This moment. Stay in loving presence. Every moment we do not bring the past into the present moment is a miracle as it frees up the future to be something different.

AWAKEN: THE JOY OF LOVE

Do not look to past beliefs, and what you 'know' to be true, the lie is in your beliefs. As we release persistent past patterns with love we create connection to all that is. Release the past, it does not exist. Move into what brings you joy. Lean into a playfulness of purpose. Love like Disco here, heading to the dog park to meet his buds.

REMEMBER: THE PAST IS NOT HERE IN THE PRESENT

The past has no power over me. The past doesn’t exist. Feelings are not caused by the past. The past we remember are our own thoughts about the past and nothing more. We give the past all the meaning it has. Change your mind about what you think happened to you. Give it over and allow freedom to flourish in the present moment. Our work for this practice is to remember everything we witness is the reality of love. To perceive the world, forgiven we must be willing to let the past go, to see that it cannot touch us in the instant of now. The forgiven world is seen in the now, not as a reflection of the past or an imagined future. "We have to choose to stop looking at “a past that is not there”

FOUNDATIONAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS AFFIRMATION

Affirm It

I release the past it can touch me not.

PRAYER'S OF THE HEART

May love extend through you and flourish in unexpectedly delightful ways.

LOVE ACTIVISM 💚🌱✨

Mental health can look different than depression. It can be, and look many ways. From their website, The Loveland Foundation is committed to showing up for communities of color in unique and powerful ways, with a particular focus on Black women and girls. Their resources and initiatives are collaborative and they prioritize opportunity, access, validation, and healing. Becoming the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Acceptance is one way of forgiving ourselves for that which we've had some hard times. Forgiveness is unapologetically loving ourself. Perhaps it's time for you to do both.
