WHAT IF

all our thoughts

were loving? . . .

consider the possibility

Mel's Blog For Writing + News + Loving Thoughts + Love Actions

As our world shifts to loving alignment in service to a 21st Century storytelling renaissance. It helps to consider the recognition of shadow work involved in ascension.

To put us into the field of possibilities for this loving insight, we introduce the Jungian exploration of art and the psyche because, our collective shadows are being projected before us, obscuring the way. As we collectively move through decolonizing our thinking, healing, organizing, taking kind action, realizing a new timeline for the world, returning to all earth mother energies of biophilia, we're highlighting the work of Carl Jung.

Jung says "genius lies beyond the wound." Art is an instrument to move beyond our wounds, projections, and traumas. It acknowledges the care and work required to heal them within a wholeness pattern. The muses are mechanisms for storytelling, as our greatest victory of 'self' lies on the other side of the shadows, what we can't see, sometimes referred to as fearful perceptions 'shadows' born of past patterns. Perception is different for everyone, because it changes with the perceiver, shifting based on experience, the lens we use to access it, and, it can be healed as perception of it shifts in connection. Truth in this way co-creates new pathways sourcing the deepest alignment of our soul's code.

If your heart is beating, you are connected to the electricity of life. All of it. Each beat sends messages to your bodies cellular systems to activate, regenerate, operate and grow. In this way, the heart beat is an evolving expression of our loving conscious aliveness to make manifest our soul's code.

The Psyche and Love as Constellations of Possibility

From Jung on the Artist.

The unborn work in the psyche of the artist is a force of nature that achieves its end either with tyrannical might or with the subtle cunning of nature herself,   quite regardless of the personal fate of the man who is its vehicle. The creative urge lives and grows in him like a tree in the Earth from which it draws its nourishment. We would do well, therefore, to think of the creative process as a living thing implanted in the human psyche.

It is like a deeply river-bed in the psyche, in which the waters of life, instead of flowing along as before in a broad but shallow stream, suddenly swell into a mighty river.  This happens whenever that particular set of circumstances is encountered which over long periods of time has helped to lay down the primordial image.

The moment when this mythological situation reappears is always characterized by a peculiar emotional intensity; it is as though chords in us were struck that had never resounded before, or  as though forces whose existence we never suspected were unloosed. What makes the struggle for adaptation so laborious is the fact that we have constantly to be dealing with individual and atypical situations. So it is not surprising that when an archetypal situation occurs we suddenly feel an extraordinary sense of release, as though transported, or caught up by an overwhelming power. At such moments we are no longer individual, but the race; the voice of all mankind resounds in us like Wordsworth’s discordant elements that move in one society

I heard the guy who edited the Carl Jung's Red Book talking about how anybody who has been in therapy can attest that no one knows anything but somehow everything is revealed. The unconscious is at work and wants to be known, to be created in every encounter. It is the grand universal experience of our processes on earth, always spinning, breathing, growing, dying, changing as the possibility miracles of call response, love, connection, can be born in each moment.

Decolonizing your Art with your Breath Practices

For those working with their connected breathe and energy workouts, we go all the way back to the beginnings of the last century. to activate Jung's work with the 'breath of fire' yogic practices.

"Carl Jung’s seminar on Kundalini yoga, presented to the Psychological Club in Zurich in 1932, has been widely regarded as a milestone in the psychological understanding of Eastern thought and of the symbolic transformations of inner experience. Kundalini yoga presented Jung with a model for the developmental phases of higher consciousness, and he interpreted its symbols in terms of the process of individuation." Collected into The Psychology of Kundalini Yoga by Princeton University Press.

Kundalini and Bioenergy are expressions of the same energetic reality in humans. Through social conditioning and emotional traumata, this life energy is usually suppressed and blocked in chronic subconscious muscle tensions, which have their psychological counterpart in emotional blocks and ego-defenses. When this “muscle armor” (as bioenergy calls it) is softened or broken and/or the live energy is amplified by strong emotion or in life-endangering situations, the body begins to shake and vibrate involuntarily, and the Kundalini energy starts reanimating formerly repressed psychosomatic areas. If this development is not suppressed again (or even supported), the resulting Kundalini rising will bring old traumata of body and psyche to the surface in a sort of natural healing process—partly very intense as well as radically changing.

We've entered these realms to work in a new form of biophiliac story-telling. Biophlia is defined as the love of all living things. Eco/Bio/Energies, the frequencies of the universe. Grow. Create. Practice the muses. Live artistically. Express your loving. Work with your hands as an expression of the heart. Do it. Now.

Every day the unconscious thoughts unblock as the work of radiating harmonic loving broadcasts. The necessary work continues to bring about miracles. When our practice of peaceful alignment with the source of all thing in love is in balance, we get to experience God’s great wonders working through me. Loving thought heals perceptions to a divine inner state of vision and peace where we are in full knowing of heaven on Earth.

All Our Thoughts

Were Loving?

Whatcha gonna do at the end of your life when you are asked about the love you shared, gave away and received, unconditionally in this lifetime. During a challenging time when my Dad passed over the rainbow bridge, with a quick, debilitating diagnosis. It was rough, for us as the kids, but my Mom took it super hard, passing out, and needing to be rushed to the hospital. While tending to her at the hospital, some of the nurses shared how much quick losses and the resulting broken heart is a thing, a common thing. With Valentines Day coming up, I heard a voice that said, make this Valentines count, create 100 heart art cards and deliver them to your Mom and her sisterhood at her senior living center to remind them they are loved. A few of my artist friends joined me, we went to the flower market grabbed white roses and when Valentines Day came around we had a beautiful day of love and sharing in abundance.

Love is in everything. All around us. If you are not experiencing loving, there is something out of alignment. Consider what action to extend love and kindness might be your work do in for your beloved community.

Love. in action.

Each year we've honored this practice of delivering love in the form of 100 handmade heart cards. It is part of each new year and something we as a group now treasure. Each card created is made with love to remind, "YOU ARE LOVED!"

We believe in the practice of biophilia, the love of all living things, and the luscious practice of acting with our loving in all our interactions.

HEART ART CARD MITVAH PROJECT

Heart Art Card Mitvah Project

We meet in the days and months before Valentines Day to create the heart art cards. Once we have over 100 cards completed we align with a local neighborhood location who we feel could use the extra loving deliveries. On the Day, we start early in the morning and deliver these handmade heart cards around town, for us here in Los Angeles. Each year we've had a few other cities and states participate. The idea is to bring the full on loving to the world. 💌🐲💗✨
