Like Maya Angelou says "A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.” You have an innate loving tone, your note, a part of the universe so important without it, the world falls out of tune. What one loving action you can take to experience your inner hum?

This wonderful world we live in where everything unfolds and is understood for the sacredness of its essence swirling before us is the work of faith in compassionate positioning where we trust the perfection of the divine plan for our lives. We work everyday for love, for our sisters, our parents, our children, our communities, it is the way we make manifest the harmony of the song we sing. Not a day goes by we aren't at work to sing the beautiful songs we've been gifted.

When you know your own center, you are in stillness with the truest space of your being allowing you to understand in every situation the space you are holding, and from that space you remember your job is to extend Love. You are not taking on another’s karma, you are merely dealing with your own, and in your knowing of this one detail, you allow other people to grow into their knowing.

A WOMEN LED REVOLUTION HAS COME. Organize strategically in support. Hold the light of certainty that Iranians will free themselves, it has happened, it is a triumph, a celebration of love where all hearts are connected in the one collective. Banafsheh Sayyad has been uplifting a discussion with the Humanity Rising summit hosting conversations to uplift the consciousness for women of Iran and the region, she connected in V (formerly Eve Ensler) with her own modality of expression and storytelling through her practice, the dance of oneness. Her passion is the connection to the necessary work of movement building activism. In. conversation with V (formerly Eve Ensler) it quickly turns to Dance and the way her current movement, 1 billion Rising started by V ten years ago and the whole idea was that 1 billion women on this planet have been raped or beaten or abused in their lifetime and what would happen if 1 billion women and all the trans women and non-binary people and gender different people and all the men who love those people rose up on the same day and danced.
Banafsheh Sayyad talks about her love as a child in Iran to her Dance of oneness practice. "I didn't think I had come to this world to do what others think is the 'right thing' for me to do, but I had the benefit of having immigrated to the US and was determined to follow my heart and had the opportunity countless girls and women who love to dance but didn't have the opportunity to leave the country have been harassed and imprisoned for dancing over the past 40 plus years."
Addressing where we go from here, V speaks into the future, "This year we will rise for freedom in 1 billion rising to create the new culture, and all of us need to rise, wherever we are, for whatever in our own lives needs to be free, or what we need to complete, to rise, for and with, the women in our worlds. Because when the women in Iran can dance safely and assuredly and freely with all their bodies and all their sexuality and all their life force for something fundamental will have been freed into this world. In the beginning people would be kind of sarcastic about dance, I remember being interviewed by this British talk show host who asked... "What does dancing do?"
And, I and I just started to laugh and
I thought... What doesn't it do?
I think why dancing is so powerful. When we dance. We are free, we are ourselves, we are in our bodies, we occupy public space with our bodies. We join in solidarity, moving the way we move, with other people, the way they move; and yet we're joined. It's free, it can't be controlled by the state or Corporations. It's expansive, it's inclusive, it's sexual, it's alive, it's opening portals to other realms. It's opening portals to each other. I think is spontaneous. It happens in the moment. All these things are the ingredients of Revolution.
